About ActronAir Circuit Breakers & Motor Protection

Circuit breakers and motor-protection devices guard your ActronAir system against overload, short circuits, and motor faults — isolating the supply before damage occurs. ActronAir systems use a range of devices matched to the unit's current draw and phase: miniature circuit breakers (MCBs) in various pole and amp ratings (with “C” curve characteristics for motor loads), motor-protection circuit breakers such as the MPW40 and MPW65 series across set amperage bands, manual motor starters, and isolator switches. Selecting the correct amperage band, pole configuration, and phase is essential — an incorrectly rated device can nuisance-trip or fail to protect the motor it's fitted to.
