About ActronAir Valves & Coils

Valves control the flow and direction of refrigerant through your system. A reversing valve switches the system between cooling and heating — when it sticks, the system can be stuck on one mode. Expansion and digital control valves meter refrigerant precisely for efficient operation, and solenoid coils drive the valves electrically. ActronAir supplies these matched to the system, including reversing valves and their solenoid coils (in R22 and R410A versions), digital control valves, and gas and liquid service valves. A common point of confusion is the difference between the coil and the valve body — sometimes only the coil needs replacing, sometimes the whole valve.
