1560-427 Compressor ZRD81KC-TFD-522 Digital Scroll is the factory-fitted 3-phase Digital Scroll compressor (ZRD81KC-TFD-522) for ESP Plus Series 2 split ducted systems requiring digital capacity modulation, compressing R22 refrigerant to drive the system's heating and cooling cycle at the heart of the outdoor unit. A failed compressor causes complete system shutdown with loss of digital capacity control that enables zone-by-zone comfort management. When replacing this compressor, ActronAir recommends also replacing the compressor contactor and soft starter -- all three components are equally stressed during the fault event that causes compressor failure.
