ActronAir Outdoor Coil Defrost Sensor 6m is the extended-length version of the outdoor coil defrost sensor for large commercial package and split ducted systems where the substantial distance between the outdoor coil sensing point and the control board requires a 6-metre cable run. Using a shorter sensor cable and extending it with non-genuine cable increases resistance in the thermistor circuit, causing temperature reading errors that result in incorrect defrost timing. Isolate power at mains before replacing any outdoor refrigeration sensors.
