ActronAir Suction Pressure Transducer provides continuous low-side refrigerant pressure monitoring on commercial and high-capacity residential ActronAir systems, delivering an analogue pressure signal to the outdoor PCB for suction superheat calculation, capacity management, and compressor protection. The suction pressure transducer works in conjunction with the suction temperature sensor to calculate superheat at the compressor inlet -- a failed transducer causes the PCB to fall back to fixed-capacity operation and may generate a sensor fault alarm. Isolate power and recover refrigerant before replacing any suction pressure sensing components.
