ActronAir Vibration Absorber 7/8" is installed in the compressor discharge line to attenuate compressor-generated pulsation and vibration before it propagates through the refrigerant pipework and outdoor unit structure on compatible ActronAir systems. A cracked or failed vibration absorber allows compressor vibration to transmit directly through the discharge pipework, causing fatigue cracking at brazed joints and increasing noise levels in the outdoor unit. Isolate power and recover all refrigerant before replacing any refrigerant line components.
