About ActronAir Sensors & Switches
Sensors and switches are your system's eyes — feeding temperature and pressure data to the control board so it can run safely and efficiently. When one drifts or fails, the system can short-cycle, throw fault codes, or shut down to protect itself. ActronAir systems use a range of matched devices: coil and defrost temperature sensors (indoor and outdoor, in various lengths and connector types), ambient and return-air sensors, compressor discharge sensors, high- and low-pressure switches (matched to the refrigerant, such as R22 or R410A), and electronic pressure transducers. A key fit detail is the connector — for example, 2-pin versus 3-pin JST plugs are not interchangeable — which is exactly why matching the genuine part to your model matters.
